Cathy: Yawn. Pbltt! Charlene: They body's been back for a week, but we're still waiting for the brain to land. Cathy: I'll have an iced latte and a mango sorbet! While you were out: Rush! Urgent! ASAP! You have 947 new messages!
Ahhh, the pitfalls of returning to work physically, when mentally one is still on vacation! Love all those deletes, Cathy, and when you realize you might have accidentally deleted an important e-mail, there’s always the “Trash” cache! I hope everyone has a really great weekend! (Even if you do have to clean the house and/or do the laundry and etc.). Whatever, try to get some down time for yourselves! ;)
Ahh, yes, I agree. It takes me so long to get back into “work mode” after a break, that I almost don’t want to take a break sometimes.Hello Cathy clan!
We left for a weekend away (over Labor Day) following a week of refrigerator not working (only 18 mos old, but dead circuit board) and washing machine leaking. Back 4 days and sewer backed up just before 75 mph winds knocked the power and computer out. It has been a month to forget. Oh well, at least the house is still standing — tho a lot of trees are not.

You know how it always takes three weeks to get caught up after you take a week off? It took me four this tme. Yay roaring Alberta economy?

I like Cathy’s reaction to the phone messages (fingers in ears and blowing a raspberry).
In my case, waiting for the brain to arrive would take a REALLY long time, undoubtedly.
