Mom: In my day, no one mentioned weight gain until after the holidays. Then the signs started going up before Halloween... then the papers were full of it all summer. Now the headlines have been screaming all year! "Weight crisis, this!" "Weight crisis, that!" Eating season hasn't even started and everyone's already yelling "reduction"! Cathy: Wow. I could take 5% off my thighs before Christmas!

This month’s (December) issue of “National Geographic” has a great article on the joy of eating… I don’t know…I like to eat certain things like my hub’s special cinnamon rolls, or some scroumptous Scottish Shortbread, or mac n’ cheese, also apple slices, and various (frozen veggies.) I loovvveeee brownies and scones. and etc. and etc.! Gotta watch my sugar, however! Hey! Today is Fried-Egg! Have a happy! ;)

Eating season? I thought eating was in season all year long. Guess I had better stop eating until the season opens. Happy Friday Cathy Clan. Hope to keep up with the comments this weekend but with the lighting for Annie tonight and tomorrow night plus a dance recital to light tomorrow afternoon – followed by a board of directors meeting Sunday noon (an hour away at that) it is going to be a busy weekend. Hope everyone else gets to relax and enjoy.

This seems to be a good time to use a fun phrase …
“LALALALALA—I can’t HEEEEEEEAR you!”
HI, MOM. Happy Friday, “Cathy” Clan.
