This is the most tiring part of Christmas: all of the get-togetherness, parties, meetings, baking, buying, shopping and etc. By the time Christmas Eve shows up, all one wants to do is crawl into bed and stay there until Dec. 27th! (Not the 26th as the gift exchange line goes clear out the front door!). =-O

Heck, if my shopping was done, I’d be thrilled. Not sure why I do this every year… probably because my kids’ lists change often!Hello Cathy friends! Last week of school before break!@Mousie – definitely not the 26th because that’s my birthday and it’s time for a celebration! (kidding… most people are exhausted on my birthday, which stinks)

Thankfully there’s only one person on my shopping list that I have to be ready early for. My birthday is the 1st and hers is on the 7th. We usually have dinner half-way between where we exchange birthday and Christmas presents with each other. As for everyone else on my list, I’ve got until December 24th to have all my shopping and wrapping done so that everything will be ready to go first thing on Christmas morning.
Hi, rgcviper!
Mike G: Sounds pretty bad alright. But I’m sure your wife does a lot of things for you that she’d probably rather not do either but does them anyhow simply because you ask her to. She may very well not care all that much for some of the people at your company’s Christmas parties either but goes there and socializes with them anyhow for your sake. Just try to remember that even though this time of year may seem to last forever, it’ll be over with before you know it and soon enough, life will get back to normal again until next Christmas season.
Hello and Happy Monday, fellow “Cathy” fans. Hope everyone had a really nice day today! :-)
