Now then . . . who’s going to give her a hand to get back up on her feet again?

What woman would want to get married because of a fluke or accident? Only Cathy! And only Cathy’s mom would be happy about an accidental proposal for her daughter. Oh well, Irving your 1st duty as future son-in-law is to help your future mil up.
Hello Cathy friends, it’s absolutely frigid in Ohio. Hope you are staying warm!

I think Homer Simpson best describes my feelings today regarding Irving and Cathy’s “accidental fluke” of an engagement . . . not to mention her mother’s “I-don’t-care-how-it-happened-I’m-just-glad-that-it-finally-did!!!” attitude about the whole thing:
Hi, rgcviper!

Well…I guess it WOULD take a miracle to get past all the hang-ups these two have!

Hi, I didn’t read this arc the first go-round. Do they stay engaged? From the accidental nature of it, it seems they would have second, third, fourth, fiftieth thoughts!

Feel the love.
HI, MOM. Love the Homer face-palm pic, since “The Simpsons” is my favorite TV show. Thanks!
Hello, “Cathy” Clan.

Sometimes people don’t realise they’re in love until something unexpected happens. They think they’re just good friends, just work well together, that sort of thing.
And then . . . the job comes to an end, or one of them moves house, or is about to, And suddenly, they realise that they cannot, will not go on without each other.
Next thing you know, they’re married with a dozen kids, happy as Larry but without a clue how they got there. Don’t knock it – celebrate!
