Hopefully it’s not a blood diamond!

Actually, he went shopping for a new laptop. Bought a tablet, then fouond a cheap ring on-line. (but don’t tell Cathy).

Someone I know was saving up for the ring his fiancee had chosen – not expensive, small and pretty – but during the saving he was persuaded by a relative that he needed a new coat . . .

I never did get my little ring with the two heart-shaped diamonds. But ten years later he did buy me a bigger one.

Your comment made me think of some really funny memes I’ve seen on Pinterest regarding this very subject . . . all of which I’ve pinned to a few of my boards, too, of course (LOL) !!!!! :-)

P.S.: Hope no one takes offense at any of these — one in particular. It’s just all meant to be in good fun and to hopefully brighten everyone’s day!!!!!
