Maybe it would be purses that costs hundreds of dollars instead of shoes that they would shop for, if this was going on now.

I noticed yesterday and again today that Cathy’s mom has a “Wedding Planner” sign on her kitchen counter. I can’t imagine why this is even needed to begin with. What? Without it, we wouldn’t know who she is or what her current “occupation” is? [eye roll]

lightenup: The wedding already costs $48,555.00 due to the uncontrollable inviting of 1,079 wedding guests. Unless they whittle that number down by 954 to get back on their original pre-set $10,000.00 budget, what’s the spending of a few bucks more for yet another pair of shoes neither one of them needs or will ever wear?!? (A completely acceptable exception would be shoes for the wedding, of course!)

Went to my daughter’s Silver Wedding party. But the music played by the DJ wasn’t half loud!
Met a few people I hadn’t seen for a good many years, though.
