Ha! That’s one thing I love about this country… choices! You’re just not looking hard enough, Cathy..Hello Cathy friends! It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to come here. First I was in MD cleaning out my mom’s home (still not finished, what a big job!), which took up a lot of time and I was exhausted. Then I got back to GA, and we had no internet. It still goes in and out so I’m trying to fix that. Anyway, I have a lot of Cathys to read through, but I think we have some new friends. Welcome and hello to all!

I can sympathise with your Internet troubles – have had a few of those myself!

Glad you’re safely back now though.

If you’re gonna go, go all out—right, Cathy?

Nice to hear from you, lightenup. I still wonder how our friends Aaron and Billy are doing. And I realized this week that we haven’t seen Koolfunkygrrl around here for some time. Hope our friends are well/OK.

HI, MOM. Happy Sunday, “Cathy” Clan.

Thanks, AnonaMouse, hendelca, rgcviper and GretchensMom!! Love you guys! Yes, hendelca, cleaning out parents’ homes is always a big endeavor, physically and emotionally. Hopefully I will have the energy when we move back from Spain to start working on mine so my kids don’t have to go through this for me.On the good side, it’s hit home that I have too much stuff, so I don’t buy much anymore. .Thanks for the sympathies on my internet service too! It’s really scary how dependent we/I am on it. I’m trying to get some things done while I’m here and since I no longer have a paper phone book, it’s not so easy to find where places are located or phone numbers to call them. Or looking up something if we have a question. When we were cleaning out my mom’s house, she had tons of articles, books, etc that she saved for future reference (like how to clean something, or where to go for certain things). Now we just look on the internet, but if it’s down, we’re stumped.

Anyone older than 30 remembers when “choice” was a euphemism for shedding innocent blood.
