Hmmmm, “mature bride” in a fluffy, white wedding dress. Silly look. Try NOT to look like an elderly Cinderella, Cathy!

My Mum didn’t weep. She was too busy stitching on the other side.

When our daughter tried on her wedding gown all I could see was my little girl playing dress up. It is so hard to believe that she is getting married. I now just how Cathys mom feels.

I would like to see Cathy in a sophisticated bridal dress. Not a Cinderella prom dress. Don’t know if these are re-run strips; I don’t remember a bridal segment from way back.

Re-runs. I have the book with this story arc in it. And her final choice is…..

@lightenupYour “bucket o’ tissues” comment made me think of a pack a college professor took with us on a trip to Europe. The pack contained passports and other essential items. Its name? The bag o’ life …

Apparently I’m a restrained weeper. We sent our son off to college on the bus today. I was all business most of the time, making sure he had his ticket and everything he needed. I broke down right before he got on the bus and we hugged.
