Poor Cathy, so happy my would be m-i-l isn’t like that.
Hello Cathy Clan! Hope everyone celebrating Thanksgiving yesterday had an awesome time! Mine was nice, despite missing my son. Don’t get trampled by the Black Friday deals if you participate, I’m safely at home.

I hope my d-i-l didn’t-doesn’t feel that way. I feel we have a great relationship, and I never try to interfere. She’s perfect for my son and my grandchildren, and that’s all that counts!

Usually I’m encouraging Irving to run like the wind away from Cathy and her nutty mother but it now looks as though they don’t exactly have the market cornered on crazy around here. Irving’s mother appears to be just as bad . . . only in a mean-spirited, passive-aggressive way as opposed to the over-indulgent, helicopter-mom way like Cathy’s is. Now Cathy needs to be the one to run, not walk, away from this relationship as fast as she can because it became pretty clear from the moment she got there that Irving’s mother was determined to find nothing but fault in the woman her “little baby boy” has chosen to marry and is therefore going to be the mother-in-law from HELL!!!!! :-P
Hi, rgcviper! :-)
Hello and Happy Day-After-Thanksgiving to all my friends here on “Cathy’s Corner.” Hope all those that celebrated the holiday yesterday had a really great one and didn’t eat too much! :-)
