I know how he feels at this point. In the early days of computer graphics – think IBM360 mainframe and a plotter – I spent about 15 hours creating a valentine’s card for my then girlfriend (now my wife of 39 years). She indicated that she would much prefer a ‘store-bought’ card. I have not given her a valentine’s card since. I guess the whole card thing was not that important as she still married me and is still married to me.
