Irving just needs to give Cathy a great big reassuring hug and tell her that it’s all over with now and that everything’s going to be okay. Taxes don’t have to be thought about again for another year and when that happens, she won’t be in it all alone . . . next time the forms will be filled out and filed jointly so they’ll be in this “mess” together. Meanwhile, Irving should take her out for some ice cream. That will surely make her feel all better again! ;-)
