My sunglasses have prescription lenses, so I have to ignore all those stores. And heaven forbid I ever loose my sunglasses!

I buy my sunglasses at the dollar store. They work fine, and I don’t mind having to replace them every couple of years.

Huh? What were we talking about? No—I can relate … especially with my rX sunglasses as well.

@kattbailey from yesterdayI meant to welcome you! I, too, am a late commentator (except Sundays),and we await your input. We’re a pretty friendly bunch here, and always look for new friends.

HI, MOM. Happy Sunday, “Cathy” Clan.

Expensive sunglasses last me a couple of days before they are broken. Dollar store sunglasses last me decades. kattbailey Welcome to the Cathy Clan. Don’t worry about posting late as many of us always go back to yesterday to catch up on what we may have missed – even those of us who don’t post that often but read every comment.

I usually get my sunglasses at Walgreens because I love to wear purple lenses and they almost always seem to have a pair like that there. Not that cheap but not too terribly expensive either, and they last me for years despite accidental drops on the ground every now and then.

    Hi, rgcviper! :-)

hendelca: The cheap Dollar Store sunglasses are definitely a lot sturdier than the more delicate, expensive prescriptions, that’s for sure! ;-)

Hi, Molly! I’m always happy to “see” you whenever you stop by. You need to drop in and “talk” to us more often! How are things going in Orlando these days? More quietly, I hope!

QuietStorm27: I’m so sorry about that. I hope you’re able to find your mother soon because you have the right to know that information. Wonder why your aunt is so reluctant to show you where she is?

kattbailey: I’m so sorry about your mother. Any disease that robs a person of their memories (and eventually their life) is a really terrible one. Please post anything you want, anytime you want — even if it’s late. I’m one of those people who always goes back the next day to catch up on anything that was written after I was last there so I will definitely see it.

Hello and Happy Sunday, fellow Cathy fans. Hope everyonehad a really great weekend! :-)

I haven’t worn sunglasses in a long time because I have had prescription eyeglasses since about 4th grade! I do plan to try transition lenses next time.

Hello fellow Cathy fans! Welcome kattbailey! Sorry I was too wrapped up in my feelings to welcome you yesterday

Hi Mom! Thank you so much! I don’t think she’s trying to be vindictive, she’s just always busy and it’s not close to her home. She promises she’ll show me soon an then I can show my sister and our children. I already bought some plastic flowers for her so they’ll last.

Yes…welcome kattbailey!!! What they say about sunglasses preventing or at least delaying cataracts seems to be true….my husband never bothered with sunglasses and he has had to have both eyes done….the eye doctor says mine are not anything to worry about yet and I’ve been wearing sunglasses since my early twenties.
