Well, then, Cathy, you’ve only got two choices: lose weight or go the next size up. Personally, I’ve always chosen to lose weight when my jeans begin to fit a little too tightly to wear comfortably anymore but then, I’ve never had late-night love affairs with the contents of my refrigerator and pantry either. In other words: lay off the cookies, chips, ice cream, and other fattening things you like to snack on so much. You and Irving both need to start taking your poor, pudgy pooches out for more and longer walks in the morning and evening time. Believe me: it would do you all a world of good in more ways than one if you did!
Hi, rgcviper! :-)
Hello and Happy Wednesday, fellow Cathy fans. I’m on “Cathy’s Corner” early today no thanks to my dear hubby’s snoring wak-
ing me up super-early this morning. I’m only functioning on about 3 hours sleep right now but on the bright side, it also gave me a 3-hour head-start to my day too, allowing me to come here now instead of having to wait until much later on this evening so at least there’s that anyhow! ;-)
Oh, can I relate to this one … and I’ve just come off a year of workouts so I can get back into some of my jeans. Haven’t been here in quite awhile, but I do remember your names GrethensMom and rgcviper. Nice to see some familiar names. Have a great day!
I don’t understand sizes; skinny and boot and the rest. I don’t know HOW women can navigate clothes shopping. I’d probably be wearing a really expensive sack.
Stretch jeans do it for me…I have a couple of pairs that are like leggings but they are denim and they stretch. I have also discovered Roots has beautiful sweatpants, some of which I actually wear for dress. One pair even has a sewn in crease down the front….and sooooo comfortable.

Buy jeans with elastic waist bands. Works wonders.
