I think everyone has their favorite type of wear… Some like jeans, some like skirts, some like leggings, and so on. My favorite is jeans. I don’t like skirts at all for many reasons but will wear them to dress up occasionally. I feel like leggings are too casual (I feel like I’m wearing pajamas in public) and show the worst of people’s bodies although they are comfortable. I buy jeans that fit well and are comfortable, and they look good with everything. I can dress them up if needed, and they hold my body in the right places so that they are flattering. My jeans move with me and I’ve never found them uncomfortable. Maybe Cathy and her colleague need to buy jeans the right size and/or with a bit of stretch?
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Monday! Amazingly my kids got a surprise day off of school because they were expecting freezing rain. Almost nothing happened of course, but we all enjoyed the extra sleep. Have a great day, all!
I don’t like to wear skirts either – wait – being male, make that kilts. I can never get jeans, or any other pants, that fit my waist and are the proper length. Fortunately there is one shop in down that does alterations so almost everything my wife buys for me has to go there before I can wear it.
Much, much warmer here today too. Just below freezing right now. Freezing rain has been threatened for any time now but so far it has just been a little more snow. I don’t mind the snow, HATE freezing rain. Fortunately in this part of the world we rarely get the freezing stuff.
We’re facing freezing rain a couple of mornings this week, but it’s supposed to warm up to around 52 so it won’t last long. Sadly, as soon as the snow all melts, it is supposed to snow some more over the weekend…Enough!! I wear jeans in spring & fall, but I don’t find them warm enough for winter months anymore. I think I’m just spoiled since I have a great sweats store closeby (Roots) and they not only sell regular sweats, but some of their sweats are nice enough to wear them for work or dress….sewn in creases down the front, really nice tweed fabrics, etc.

It is possible to find jeans with nice stretchy waistbands – I have two pairs in my closet.

My first thought when I saw this one was “candy” or some other edible. But then I suspected some type of clothes, and lo and behold …
Personally, I wear jeans anytime it’s cool-ish out and I’m not on the job. They’re my go-to type of pants.
