Irving: I hate my hair. There. I said it. I haven't spent one second thinking about it in 25 years...And now I can't stand it! IT'S OLD!! OUT OF DATE!! What am I supposed to do? Get it "styled"?? "Re-shaped"?? Mr. Hillman: It's god's gift to men, son. When we finally have to start paying attention to our hair, it all falls out so we don't have to worry about it. Irving: AAACK!!

In a British horror film titled “Haunted: The Ferryman,” (based on a novel by Kingsley Amis) one of the characters is a middle-aged man who says, “The less hair you have, the more of a bother it is.” I always felt that was rather amusing…

I remember back in the early ’90s, my mother suggested that my husband get a mullet. I told her, “Over my dead body!” My husband thanked me.

All the drugs and snake oil invented over all these years and we still can’t restore hair. You’d think someone would at least “accidentally” invent something that works on hair loss(other than glue, of course).

Irving’s dad is funny. I think he’s the only sane member of Irving’s family

But he still has hair, so he just needs a restyling. I think guys have it a little easier because they can just cut it short and they usually look good. Some guys look good with longer hair, but not many. That’s just my opinion though…
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Thursday! Have a great day, all!

Talk about timing. I finally got to the the barber yesterday (last visit was before Christmas) so my shoulder length hair (with nothing on top) is now very short. The covid haircut was finally getting to be a bit of a bother – although it reduced the amount of sunscreen I needed to go outside.
Another hot August day. We have had a lot of those this summer. Not complaining since I am trying to store up the heat to use in January. Enjoy your day.

I’m actually kinda liking my covid haircut…got in just under the wire in March and it’s so curly this summer that I haven’t even noticed much length except in the back. Can’t picture Irving with any other hairstyle…he’s always looked like that.
