Nothing worse than that, Irving. I’m a woman, and most women frustrate me to no end.

To narrow it down, Irving, you’re Cathy.

My DS must be a nobody because I pick out all his clothes for him. He could care less about his “look”.

My husband is more interested in fashion than I am. He picks out pretty outfits for me and though he is rather hefty, he looks good in slack belted at the midriff (rather than slung under his belly) and nice Hawaiian shirts, polos and amusing T shirts worn our over his pants. He has an excellent sense of color. Almost everything I have in my closet aside from some jeans, shorts, and T-shirts are things he has bought for me!

Peep peep peep, Irving! Summerdog has it right, he is acting just like Cathy. I guess he’s suddenly realized that he’s not who he thought he was and he’s freaking out, but this is nuttier than usual. I don’t really understand the “this isn’t who I am” thing. Aren’t we all who we are? We may think we are one thing, yet come across as another, but that’s normal. Too much nuttiness for a Monday morning.

I think Popeye had it right “I yam what I yam and dats what I yam”. You can add “I was what I was and I will be what I will be” to that. Good words to live by. Trying to be someone you are not is difficult – and can be obvious to others – so not worth it.

Younger daughter and son-in-law headed back to the city this morning. I still have my older daughter home for today so it is a great day. I hope your day is great too.
