Cathy: Stop taking more pictures with your phone! You haven't even printed our Christmas pictures! Irving: Oh, that was finished a long time ago, honey. Cathy: You printed them all?? Irving: No! Printing's finished! End of an era! It's over! The 4x6 print is a thing of the past! Cathy: And the thousands of 4x6 prints we already have?? Irving: Simple! Just scan them and pop them into online albums!

I wonder what will happen when he finds out he can do videos with a camera, and post them at a little place called, YOU TUBE?

Once digital pictures became more mainstream, I stopped printing them unless I wanted a physical copy of them for some reason (usually framing). Since I take pictures for my enjoyment, I’m fine with leaving them on the computer. One day, I will go through them and organize them better. I know of people who make photo books of their trips or of each year, which I think is a great idea, so I may do that. I also would like to take my older pictures and scan them. So many plans, so little time… (Uh oh, I’m beginning to sound like Cathy and Irving now!)
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Wednesday! Have a great day, all!

Online tiny photos are fine but out of your thousands, pick a couple, print them out and mount with double-matte and a nice frame. All of that can be handled online. If you tire of that picture, you can re-use the frame and matte. You would be surprised how professional-looking a properly mounted photograph becomes. My entire house is decorated with original artwork. You can buy it or you can do what I did: spend 40 years creating exactly the works you like. :)

I agree with leaving most of the pictures on the computer and printing only a few favourites. Really glad I don’t print all the pictures I have on the computer – 56,125 of them – organized in 949 folders. That would be a LOT of photo albums!
I hope you are all having a beautiful day today.

Irving’s words in the last panel, about scanning the thousands of pics, kinda make sense. However, that’s a task I, personally, would not volunteer to conquer …
HI, MOM. Hello, Clan.

Pictures are fun but a nightmare…I have thousands on my phone and computer and also need to go through and organize them. Scanning all the old ones would take the rest of my life.
