Irving: Memory-building supplements... Memory-boosting foods... Memory-rejuvenating smartphone apps... Memory-sharpening puzzles... and now my new memory-training software! Our generation is NOT going to age like your generation, mom and dad! Cathy: We'll be broke. Mrs. Hillman: Fortunately, with no memories, we'll be able to instantly forget we just heard all that!

Isn’t the reason his parents are living with them because they’re broke?

I have a memory like a steel trap. Solid steel. With springs. …what?

This is another of those subjects that go on, just a little bit too long.

The funny thing is they say that baby boomers (I assume Cathy and Irving are boomers) will live longer than greatest generation (their parents), yet they will have more health issues. So it seems that modern medicine is keeping them alive, yet at what cost. For me, I’d rather have a better quality of life. I just think the older generations ate more natural foods from their own gardens/farms, moved a lot on a regular basis, and had less pollutants in the environment. Now we have to make an effort to find and do all of those things. Plus I’m pretty sure Irving’s mom is making a jab at him, which I think is funny.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Monday! Have a great day, all!

I think this is the first time I like what Irving’s mom just said. A good comment on Irving’s … cannot think of the right word here but idiocy came to mind.
These Monday’s are arriving way too often. Enjoy it anyway.

Irving is wrong. If you keep living, you’re going to age. I think I know what he means but, no matter what you do or eat, you will age. Only thing to keep you from aging is dying.

Yup—a selective memory can be either a blessing or a curse, can’t it?
HI, MOM. Hello, Clan.
