I don’t want any more babies of my own, but Pottery Barn does have some cute stuff. I can understand looking at the catalog, but an actual baby is a lifelong commitment.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Wednesday! Have a great day, all!
In all seriousness, I have no idea why anyone would want a baby. I never had any desire whatsoever to have a baby or even hold a baby, look at a baby, smell a baby, hear a baby, or look at anyone’s pictures of a baby. I don’t even like seeing them on TV or movies. I’m glad for all the women who want and have babies, but I can’t imagine someone like me being forced to have a baby. It’s a scary world we live in now.
Good heavens, Cathy, you’re not even a half-way decent “fur-mama” to poor little Electra so how on earth are you going to be the kind of mother an actual human child deserves that will be a whole lot more trouble to take of than a dog is?!? Just because the shopaholic in you has fallen in love with a bunch of cutesie items from a “Pottery Barn Kids” catalog is NOT a legitimate, rational reason to bring a baby into the world that you hadn’t otherwise been thinking about having until this very minute so calm down and get a grip on yourself! Figures: shopping! Only thing that perks up Cathy. They need catalogs of available men, with prices – oh, wait, that’s illegal (lol!)

It even happens to men to some degree. I have one sure-fire cure. Go to some public restaurant that caters to young children and watch them eat .

I suppose that, sometimes, the great thing about having kids is having the excuse to buy all the stuff you wanted as a kid, for them.

If Cathy is ready for a baby perhaps she should get serious about finding a father for the child. (I know she does eventually).
Another fine midweek day goes flying by. Still to cold to mow the grass – maybe tomorrow!I hope you are enjoying this day.
