As a late period boomer (I was born in 1960) who was too young to remember the JFK assassination, the Beatles on Ed Sullivan, the Moon landing and Woodstock (but was old enough to remember Watergate, Nixon’s resignation and the Bicentennial), I know full well about the fact that I am aging. But it’s OK, I’m still alive and still in reasonably good health. When you think about it, we are all getting older as opposed to younger. I’ll rather be over the hill than under it.
I’m not terribly vain but I still have nice hair. For months I have been explaining to barbers and hairdressers that the darker hair on top covers a lot of gray when it is longer and also conceals some brown spots on the side of the forehead. I want it to still be long enough to curl after the cut. What do I get? Scalped!
Denial-itis! I like that term – especially since I suffer from that too.I don’t think I qualify as an ‘aging’ baby boomer any more. More like I am an ‘aged’ baby boomer. Still, the secret is to think you are young – but try to remember your body my not agree all the time.
Have a terrific Tuesday – and think young (especially if you are)

I’d love to know who Cathy is calling. I know many who have a severe case of denial-itis, and they could use an intervention.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Tuesday! Have a great day, all!

As they say “you are only as old (or young) as you feel…..” Some days this early baby-boomer is younger than others.

Um … Ya want young? Panel 3 sounds like someone who’s about three years old. Is that young enough for you?! (◔_◔)
