Ugh, car shopping is the worst, and this guy has to rub it in? Hmph. I’d give him a number that was much less than what I paid. Unless he’s contributing to the monthly payments, the truth is none of his business. Just ask me about my snazzy new car and all of its cool features.

This is exactly why I much prefer purchasing where the sticker price is the price – no haggling. The only place to haggle is on the value of a trade-in and after getting burned last time I won’t be trading-in any more vehicles. I am not selling yet but I already have a buyer for when I do.
Got a real surprise this morning. Took my wife in to day surgery for her new hip. Discovered during registration that, unlike what they have been telling us all along, she will be staying in the hospital overnight. I am about to leave shortly on my 2nd trip back to take her stuff from her suitcase that she needs. Would have been much simpler if we knew in advance. Ah well, she has already walked a little way with the new hip so we are happy.
I hope everyone is enjoying this fine Thursday – although I don’t like the look of those black clouds rolling in . . .
