When I break up with someone, it is done. There is a reason we have broken up, and 99.9% of the time there’s no reason to go back. I doubt I would have gone to this wedding at all, but I suppose it was good for Cathy to realize that she feels nothing for Alex. Sometimes lingering questions make it hard to move on.
But the whole “I’m going to keep picking at this scab” thing is too much. Heck, I don’t even feel like going through the clothes in my closet to see what fits, so no, Irving, don’t apply Cathy’s behavior to all women.

Ah, the first official weekend of the fall season. The large flocks of geese, like several hundred geese in each flock, are spending a couple of days here for resting and feeding – and partying all night. Not quite as noisy as the spring stopovers but they do seem to be chatting a lot. Have a great weekend even if you don’t have flocks of geese partying near you.
