Aack, it’s a minefield! Eyes straight ahead until you get to the fridge. Although I’d grab a cookie because that’s my fav, and the donuts do look tempting… :-) Shouldn’t the cupcakes be at the preschool? Are there a bunch of 3 year olds waiting somewhere for their treats?

Not a good morning. Woke up to a white world. Most of it has melted now since the sun is still hot when it peeks through the clouds. Ah well, it is the end of October.
I feel Cathy’s pain all the way to my core. While it’s always hard to avoid gaining weight during the holidays anyhow, the situation is made even worse when you’ve got a job — especially in an office like she does — and your coworkers are constantly bringing in treats like this to share with everyone. Lucky those that either don’t have a sweet tooth or just have a will of iron and have no problem at all saying “no”. Unfortunately, neither one of those two things apply to me as my love of desserts knows no bounds and I don’t have ANY willpower whatsoever when it comes to turning down anything sweet that’s ever offered to me! (>ᴗ•)

Just restart your diet during summer. Or March to get a kickstart on swimsuit season. Even then you’ll give up during Easter.
