Now, see, her desk looks like my old job. Stop printing everything first! Do the work, email the response, THEN print it and send it all to Filing Dept. Done! (Boy, I have a rosy, but faulty, memory of the 1990’s!)
Ugh, I don’t like emails anymore. In the beginning, it was exciting to get communication so easily and quickly, but now it’s just too much. I have a separate email for companies, and that one is overflowing. I ignore most of the emails I get now.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Friday! Have a great day, all!
Emails can be directed by rules into folders and prioritized -something hard to do with direct text messaging. Individual emails I don’t mind but putting EVERY BLOODY THING you write out to mailing list is rude.
Email, like postal mail, is not for urgent things. That is what phone calls are for. Many people expect instant responses to text and facebook messages now but they won’t get that from me. Until my cell phone is implanted into my brain I will ignore it until I have the time to look at it. I am hoping the implant thing won’t happen in my lifetime!
Another needed rainy day here. I hope you are having a sunny day (even if it is raining).

When everything is URGENT nothing is urgent.
Kinda like when everyone is exceptional then no one is exceptional.

I promise my clients an answer in 24 hours…I do the same for all other important emails. If it’s an emergency, call me.

I’m sensing a trend here this week of “E-mail: A blessing or a curse?”. Call it intuition … Personally, it’s a two-way street for me, as I’ve said.
HI, MOM. Happy Friday, “Cathy” Clan
