I tried to combine appliances by buying a combination microwave/convection/air fryer. The one I bought never heated to the temperature you programmed. I measured it with different oven thermometers; it was always 75 degrees low. You cannot air fry with such a machine. They sent me a another one. Before I accepted it, I ran the temperature test – EXACTLY the same problem. I’m left with a worthless warranty and microwave oven for which I paid an extra hundred dollars for features that do not work. (The company has a high military rank as part of its name.)
I think we have had most of those appliances over the many years of our marriage. Each one gets uses a couple of times then consigned to a drawer and then after time goes by a shelf in the garage. I think the air fryer is the only one that gets brought back into the house for a day now and again.
I am off for the next couple of days – off to Ottawa to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. A bucket list item for me. Being trying to get to see them for about 10 years and their schedule and mine finally coincided. Should be a fun night.
