When his albacore tuna ship is in port, Ulua, the ship’s cat, spends a lot of time patrolling the wharf area. He has a distinctive “lion cut” coat and always wears some kind of vest. One of them reads “Security” on the top. He is friendly and non-plussed by the tourists’ dogs on leashes. Everybody gets about 3 strokes of his fur before he gives the “back off” warning. He is a superstar; you’re lucky to get 3 strokes. :)

Should the human be worried about those front paws behind her back?
Hope there won’t be a sudden swipe!

This always ends with biting for me. Usually it’s the cat doing the biting, but not always.
