Donna always had a taste for adventure.

Donna, haven’t you ever watched ‘A Christmas Story’?

Apparently not

Get some hot water quick. To think there are times when I start to think that Donna’s smarter than she appears. Then the next Sunday rolls around and and proves me wrong. Its also interesting to know what will get Mona out of bed before noon when she doesn’t have to be anywhere.

Oh, for goodness’ sakes, Donna! How could you?!Help her, Mona! —Yeah, you too, Pierre, …I guess.

Time for Mona and Pierre to spit on Donna’s tongue…

You don’t need hot water. Tepid water will do. And somebody needs a proofreader. “So when should BE go…”?

When “A Christmas Story” came out, I was in grade school at the time. When my class heard about the idea of licking a frozen steel flagpole the same thought seemed go through just about everyone’s mind. “Why didn’t I think of that?” That movie has probably caused thousands of similar incidents, often by people who have seen it and with predictable results.

Double dog dare.

Of course she watched Christmas story – where do you think she got the idea!? Silly non Californians….

Salt might help? It’ll lower the freezing point and allow her to unfreeze her tongue, but she’ll be tasting salt with everything for days… antifreeze mighht be a cure worse than the ailment.
