    @Nabu… You are correct. The problem is temperature inversions- the air gets warmer as you go higher. When the first Europeans camped on the beaches, the smoke from their campfires rose until it hit the inversion layer, then it spread out, giving the smoke the appearance of angels overhead. That ’s where the name “Los Angeles” originated. It surely is not from the behavior of typical LA residents.

    Mona’s head in the clouds as always even if it is mostly smog. A fun turn on what had been a very dark dream.

    OK, let’s review. Mona promised Donna she would have only one drink per night after the episode with their neighbor. So what the heck kind of drink could give her this trip? And when, please make it soon, will this thread ever end, yawn.

    I think this story arc is fascinating and fun. We have no idea what’s really going on here. I don’t understand the “yawn” comments.
