Strange things do “just happen”. Two days ago our large, cast iron & glass patio table moved from the raised section of the deck to the lower portion. It was a moderately breezy day and the umbrella, which was secured in a very heavy cast iron stand, was open. My wife saw the whole thing from the kitchen. A stray gust lifted the umbrella and then the whole table. If flew, dragging two chairs with it, and landed, nice as can be on the lower section.
Someone doesn’t know how to install cabinets, then. Even if there was earthquake/tremor damage (the setting is Cali-effing-fornia, after all), a properly installed cabinet would drop it’s bottom before coming off the wall, if installed the right way.
