@fuzzybritches, It’s a process and it gets better over time. One day something has me in tears afraid to leave my home or to speak up about anything. The next day it’s in perspective and it holds no power on me. People correcting me on a picture and dismissing my experience had me going crazy until I realised their reactions triggered a painful childhood memory that once I had it pegged I was able to brush it off.
Some days I am glad to stay away from other people so I don’t infect them with my sadness. Then, I read the comics and get a good laugh, holds the depression at bay for a few minutes!
