Dread seems to be my constant companion anymore. Many times I wake up and do a “dread check”… do I have anything I need to stress over today? Just awful.
Triggers. SO many things in life have layers of triggers. The obvious ones covering the hidden ones. It’s not until you’ve worked through them that you realize the things that you have been working on are covering more and how deep they are.
Luckily I don’t geg thoughtless dread out of nowhere. It always starts with anxious thoughts for me, which now that I know it’s anxiety, I can usually stop before they get out of control.
