To make the guy fly…? I don’t really get it, either. It’s like there’s a mixup.

You might be surprised. I have actually heard “The Flight of the Bumblebee” played — well — on trombone.
It was an amazing thing to hear AND see.
There are several trombone versions on youtube. Here’s one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VcqRtNCtJ9kIt is originally a virtuoso violin piece. Surely a violin would be more likely to catch fire than a trombone….-Cougar :{)
I think the amount of spitting would be sufficient.
