“Fast food” is fast to the customer, since it is there all ready for one to buy it and to eat it on the run.
As far as preparation, all food had to be cooked the same length of time, according to its need to be cooked, no matter whether it is labelled as fast or as slow food. So, the kitchen cooking time for fast food is not any faster than food not labelled as fast.
