My Dad had a Comet-pale yellow,stick shift on the steering column,no less!

My dad owned 2 Comets in the sixties. He must’ve liked them.

For younger readers, Bill Haley was one of the pioneers of rock and roll and called his band the Comets [which also happened to be the name of a car manufactured in the 60’s and 70’s].

You know, there actually was a Mercury Comet car… but a little late for his peak career era.
