I like seeing how the characters have developed over the years. This is fun!

How much snow did you end up with Stel? We got lucky, but being on the “cusp”, we usually get all, a little, or NOTHING! Had abut 2 inches, bitter cold today, and I MEAN BITTER!

Since the “general” consensus was to move to the next strip on a daily basis, we’ll be doing that. Will you (and I’m sure others will, too) check the “old” January 15th (and last) strip periodically, in case GC starts it up again???

Talking about the snow makes me homesick. I’m from Buffalo and we all know what that’s like (Brrrrr).Now where I am is in the 60s during the day. It’s a tough job but someone has to do it. LOL

we are supposedly getting a wintery mix on Friday. Who knows how that will actually turn out.

I can’t see any of the pictures on my office computer, however, with nighthawks’ picture, it has me visualizing the place where the Bundy’s went on summer vacation called Dumpwater, Florida.

Either there is a blank where the picture should be or there is the message CONTENT BLOCKED BY YOUR ORGANIZATION. Are you people posting picures of questionable taste?

Indeed!… (or, at least on the same CD page…being all of one mind, though: never happen! LOL)

I had to separate my canary from the larger cage.The female Zebra Finch was bullying him.I’ll get him a larger cage later. When I can afford it.I put him in the middle so he will still be surrounded by other birds.

We went to the beach this morning.

We had a big windstorm a number of days ago that has left aDouglas fir leaning into a tree between our garage and a deck that I call my cigar and cognac deck. The tree was on a county controlled easement, now it is encroaching on my property. I called to see if they would remove it. It bows dangerously and can not simply be cut down. They told me that it is a non maintained property and I have to pay to have it taken down. Meanwhile across the street they have brought in a crane truck, a dump truck, a huge chipper, a truck with a hydraulic bucket, flag man and the crane truck straddles both lanes of traffic. This to remove a tree that broke off and fell into the creek. Sometimes government agencies just baffle me.

I think that latter video just supports my preference for dogs. I think that kitten may have come close to losing one of its lives.

Chicken and dumplings for dinner… : P MMMmmm…
