I had a couple comments disappear yesterday. I think it’s because when I clicked SUBMIT, the comment would come up twice. Certain that no one would want to read my comment twice, I deleted one. The other would stay there then, but when I returned later on, it would be gone. Oh, the mysteries……..

Well I thought it happened again. I wondered where my comment went, but I posted it on yesterday’s strip. Here it is:

Fellow Baby, I was wondering about the cast of the new KRP. You’re right, it wouldn’t be the same without Johnny…or Venus…or Jennifer fr that matter. Sometimes I wondered who really ran that station. Carlson or Jennifer?

I have to try to take a look at those shows tonight. I ran out of time last night.

I should have known there was something wrong. Shika, never posts this early on the strips.

RE: puppybreath Yes, puppybreath has not commented anywhere since Sunday (4/1). Naturally, my imagination starts to run wild. I do worry about her, and I know I tend to nag her about slowing down. I so hope she’s OK. She’s had 2 colds and the flu since January. I kind of think she’s really run down, and my hope is that she’s getting a lot of rest and concentrating on feeling better.

And, I really hope that it won’t be 3 months before we hear anything, like last Fall. I worried that whole time, and was totally helpless to do anything. But, hey, it’s only been 2 days. I bet she’ll be here tonight. I think I’ll stay up past 8 pm tonight.

She did say she had to go to various places to help her friend rebuild that bathroom.

Fellow Baby and cleo, Andy Travis was to me what Jennifer Marlowe was to you guys! Hubba, hubba! Now he looks like what he is, an old man! Sigh!

Checked around Fellow Baby, glad to see you have posted after all the nasty weather, so you must be doing okay.

it almost feels like i an expending as much energy reassuring and explaining to/at mom. she has always ben a worry wart, and the dementia makes that worse.other than that things are going ok. i am going through the garage sorting and checking things that have ben packed over the years. rental truck stuff on one side, pickup/utility trailer stuff on the other.i am SOOO glad i carefully packed all that other stuff before. it would have killed me if i needed to repack much.in the next few days i’m going to be working on the pickup. i need to put a paint on bed liner in it. it came with a receiver, but no hitch, so i need to get that square. and get the lights fixed.then i can back the truck and trailer in to the garage and pre pack that.it almost feels like a game. i’m getting into it, and its allmost fun.: )happy, happy, happy!!!joy, joy, joy!!!

We may be adopting a dog. My wife is a nurse who sees over adult family homes. One home had an elderly woman and her pet Schnauzer Penny, whom LilG described to me as a sweet, intelligent, happy dog who never barks. She had been allowed in this home because of her sweet disposition and the fact that she did not upset the other residents. LilG knew that this woman was nearing the end of her life and she ask the woman who had these patients in her home what was going to happen when to Penny when the woman passed. A couple of evenings ago , the owner of Penny did pass. Her family called, they can not keep the pet and said that we could have her if we would like. We are going for me to meet her tomorrow. She is ten years old and I thought for years that I would not want to adopt a dog that old, but that is the opinion of too many people. This little dog sensed that it was crisis time and refused to leave her master’s side. I think that she deserves a loving home. Barring any unknown problems, we may have a dog tomorrow.

Fellow baby, we are supposed to get hammered tonight and overnight. Right now I’d say Dallas is getting hammered. They’ve apparently had 2 large tornadoes touch down. Preliminarly reports say there’s plenty of damage.

Fellow Baby, I just got my Beetle Bailey print. Though I love the prints from the Daily Ink, I do not like the packaging. At least this time I was able to keep most of the styrofoam in the box.

OH MY! So much to reply to, I hope I get them all!

cleo YOU MUST ADOPT THIS LITTLE ONE! She needs a loving home and she is small enough that you can take her anywhere with you. So she’s 10? How would YOU feel if someone “set you aside” because you weren’t young anymore? And they are NICE dogs! I never had one, always wanted one, but two of my friends have had them, and those are the only dogs they will ever own, and knowing their dogs, I know why! Lovely, lovely dogs!

It came quicker than I thought it would.

x_Tech, that particular episode of WKRP is one, that just like the “I Love Lucy” episode when they first arrive in Hollywood and William Holden is the guest star, are shows that I have seen a 100+ times and still TO THIS DAY, laugh so hard that the tears come. BLESS YOU MAN! Some of the best comedy out there, still to this day! And sure beats the CRAP they pass off as comedy these days!

noicant, Glad you’re spirit is good and you are having some fun getting ready! Try to look upon it as “AN ADVENTURE”! I do that sometimes when things aren’t quite up to “snuff”, but not so bad that you can’t make part of it pleasant, you know what I am trying to say?

Fellow Baby, all those “peanuts” huh? Don’t you just LOVE that! It’s annoying but they do make nice aerators for potted plants. But then, you don’t garden if I remember correctly.

I don’t have one potted plant, Fellow Baby My mom was the only real green thumb in our house. I can’t even seem to keep my grass in good shape. I wonder what my HOA would say to artificial? It’ll save me a lot in landscaping fees.

They haven’t hit yet. The southern-most tip is just a bit north of La Grange. They’re saying we won’t be getting any tornado warnings. They’ll be mosstly to the north of us.

I’m watching the news now. Some incredible damage in Dallas.

I expect that we’ll be getting the storm some time over night, but I’m not sure of the timing yet.

I’m calling it a night.
