Good morning all you CD kids out there..SteBel I have a little shadow today reading my comics with me. He loves your dancing chicken and bouncing eggs. Eggcellent job as usual..Noicantspell the Kiss eggs are rocking. That is too cool. As a big fan of Kiss, I’ve seen lots of memorabilia but this just cracks me up ;-)

cleo, it’s been another positively gorgeous day here. I love getting off to an early start on such days to see it through from sunrise to sunset. I started my day off at he Kemah Boardwalk, taking a few laps around the boardwalk right around sunrise. It was a beautiful sunrise, too. A great big orange ball peaking out from behind some distant clouds. I wish I took my camera.

cleo, unfortunately, I had too many indoor tasks to take care of. I was indoor by about 1pm. Too bad, really. There are so few such days in the Houston area. One of my neighbors has already turned their a/c on. I haven’t yet because it does get cool enough at night to bring the room temperature down enough for my liking overnight. But I know that will change within the next couple weeks.

cleo, I never could tolerate cold, and have very little toleration for a/c. I keep mine on the highest bearable level for my liking. I do need it, if for nothing more than keeping the humidity down.. But then there are those that work in offices and my plant that haw things much cooler. I can’t take it with that cold air blowing on me all the time. I can’t wait to retire and get out of that environment.

I love summer and the heat!
