Fellow Baby I must admit I was not a big fan of Andy Griffith or the Andy Griffith show. I was more into The Beverly Hillbillies & Petticoat Junction back in those days. Back in the 60’s I think my favorite comedians were Paul Lynde and Rich Little. To this day, Paul Lynde cracks me up on those old Bewitched shows. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for Don Knots. Three’s Company, for example, was much better with the Ropers than with Knots. Of course, that is my opinion and my personal preference.

Shika, the CBC’s been around at least as long as I have, but I think the only thing worth watching in their programming was Hockey Night In Canada. Eventually, though, in their infinite wisdom, the programming execs at CBC decided to can the English language production. You couldn’t watch a Canadians game in English in Montreal. But there really wasn’t anything else in any decade that would make me want to tune in to the CBC during prime-time.

Of course, now I’d say that there isn’t much of anything on any network truly worth watching. It Makes me glad I started collecting movies & TV shows on DVD.

Good morning to all and hope the United States of American citizens have a meaningful celebration of our independence.

Happy Independence Day. We are staying home and don’t need to go to town to see the fireworks. We have a celebrity living on the lake who puts on an incredible display. We just walk down to the dock amd set up a couple of chairs.

Iloved The Andy Griffith Show. It is one of those shows that I can watch over and over again.Good morning to all the citizens of Dog who made it past y2k unscathed.

doncha just hate it when you light off a cherry bomb and then run and hide behind something and the fuse is a dudand so you go see whyand you pick it up to inspect itand…..doncha just hate it when people call you ‘Stubby’?
