And, then, after the park, they all stopped at Mickey D’s…

Hey Stel ol’ Bel! is it me or does this cold ol’ January seems to be hanging around and going on and on and on….?I was remarking last year how fast the weeks and months seem to be flying by these days….how the holidays seemed to be a blur…..but now it seems time has come to screeching halt. I feel like I’m the Bill Murray character in ‘Groundhog day’ – cold day after cold day after cold day….Can’t wait for the St Patricks’s day parades and celebrations…..it means spring is coming soon!

Sure is a lot cooler than the “dog park” near my neighborhood – about 1500 square feet of dirt enclosed by a chain link fence with one 10′×10′ pop-up shape.

Ahhhh…to be lying on the grass reading a book in the sunshine.

We have a dog park in one of our parks here and it is neat. It’s for small and medium dogs with grass, trees and benches to sit at. Fun place to be.

Speaking of cold, today it is supposed to get to 47 degrees, Tuesday, the high is expected to be 18! Yes, I said 18!

Good morning Fellow Baby, cleo, sugie and all gathered here on the grassy knoll.

I took my boy for a walk twice last week. Mom is on painkillers now. Weather permitting, Monday i am going to take my camera to the tide pools at Yaquina Head.

Our lawn is not only a Dog park (we even provide baggies) but doubles as a Turkey park.

Fellow Baby, it was a beeeeauuuuuutiful day here today. I hated to come in when I was done with the outdoor decorations. Unfortunately, I had plenty of stuff to do indoors as well. But i did manage to get some color while I was out. I wasn’t the only one dealing with the decorations today either.

This is without question the best weekend of the year so far and tomorrow’s supposed to be even better than today.

Actually, I think that so few days haven’t been cloudy, cold and rainy here. This nice stretch goes well into next week. :-)

That dog has the right idea. It says “Dogs Allowed! I swear!”

Only Mel and Fergus would defy the by-law stating “Please stay ON the Grass”. Tsk, Tsk.Good Evening CDers.

Yes, tanning weather, Shika. I may save all those CD’s for a rainy day. I managed to listen to two today but got 2 more in the mail. I’m still expecting 2 more next week some time from those orders ealier this past week.

I listened to Chuck Berry and Blondie today.

Tomorrow I hope to listen to at least Belinda Carlisle, Petula Clark, Leslie Gore and Dr. Hook. If I’m lucky, I’ll get to the Billy Joel and Bob Seger albums.

I’ve been there many times myself and my heart goes out to you and your family.happy I’m sorry to hear about your mom. I am glad to hear you are finally getting some much needed help..The weather here was like a wonderful spring day. It got close to 60. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the 30’s. It’s hard to adjust to the cold when it keeps getting nice for a few days..I would have to say that Fergus handles those inline skates rather well.

Jkiss, I love the Cover Of Rolling Stone, but your B side is not in the collection I bought. But for what I paid, Rolling Stone is worth it, even if the rest was garbage, which is not the case.

Yes, it’s too early to say, Shika, but the long range forecast for next week may be indicating a washout.

I should be in bed now, Shika. I woke up at 3AM this morning, but couldn’t get back to sleep. I occupied myself with comics and music until sun-up.

I’ve still got one more episode of UFO to watch. I will welcome my bed with open arms when that’s done.

I don’t know how long your episode is, but I’m going to say, “Good Night Grog!”

Lovely day, and if there are any LOTR and Hobbit fans out there who haven’t yet seen THE HOBBIT,

AWESOME!

I was wondering if it would disappoint, as I LOVED the first three, I was wondering if I would like the new characters and actors in the roles.

I DID AND I DID, and though those movies run close to 3 hours, they go by SO FAST and leave you wanting more! Now we have to wait close to a year to see the next one! SIGH!

And they are filmed in New Zealand! What a BEAUTIFUL land!

I JUST LOVE THOSE MOVIES!

Ok now I can’t wait to see it Dry.

Shika thank you. I liked that she was bright and shiny, holding the world in her hands. She is my hope for us all in this new year.

Grog like I said I haven’t heard that song since I was a kid. I looked it up and found the lyrics online so maybe I can download it into my song list. I do agree that Cover of the Rolling Stone makes it worth the CD.

I’m packing it in early tonight so peaceful slumbers to all and good night.
