I just came across a delightful little Friday strip at Sherpa, called Sleepytown Beagles! VERY CUTE, I added it to my queue! I went all the way back to the beginning in 2011.

Congratulate me everyone I just became the guardian of my husband who has alzhiemers (mild). After reading the rules and reg. I realized that I have been doing this all my life but now I had to pay $$$$ so that I could continue to do this care. I guess the main thing is that I can sign legal papers and such and I have control over his/my bank account. Weeee I am so excited. Life sucks and then you die. :-(

Things can only get worse for you, sugar. my Uncle became violent in his state. Though he was in a home when it happened, he couldn’t even remember he was married when he was home. I believe that’s why he got sent to the home in the first place. Not sure, because my aunt didn’t talk too much about anything that she perceived to be something that could cause embarrassment. She was such a snob, really.

Fellow Baby, thank you for turning me onto that strip. It’s the perfect way to end the work week. And the art work is spectacular. It must be the reason it appears Fridays only.

sugar, don’t get me wrong. I’m glad you were able to to get the control. As you say, it will be important going forward.

((((((((((((((sugie)))))))))))))))))))) The older we get, yeah, I must agree, unless you are REAL REAL LUCKY life does indeed SUCK! But also, the older I get, I look around me and even though my life may be difficult at times, I try to remember that THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE OUT THERE WORSE OFF! KEEP THE FAITH SUGIE, KEEP THE FAITH, EVEN THOUGH IT SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE AT TIMES!

I’m listening to the Band’s Last Waltz album on CD. There are some artists, like Neil Young and Neil Diamond, that I don’t like, but, for the most part, it’s got some great live material, including that of the Band.

One more back at ya’, Fellow Baby at Sleepytown Beagles. You can’t type it into the search bar I discovered, you have to hit Sherpa and then go to the strip.

I’ve already have it linked on my home page, Fellow Baby, as I do with all my favorite strips. I even set it up to be e-mailed to me.

Fellow Baby, How did you find out the number of subscribers? I clicked on the avatar like you do for the mainline comics and got nothing, I was curious too about the number of subscribers. WE HAVE TO SPREAD THE WORD ON THIS STRIP! And let the cartoonist know, assuming he reads the comments that we enjoy it, and give him some encouragement to continue!

Fellow Baby as much as I love what I’ve seen, I’ve seen others trying to do the same for the strips they love being called spammers.

I think what I’ll do is provide links to some of the strips I’ve favorited when they apply – especially those awesome holiday strips. They are among the best I’ve seen.

I’m sure cleo would like it though.

I’m afraid I have to agree with Grog. Not that I don’t want others to read Sleepytown Beagles, but I’ve been annoyed at other who do that, and it does seem to make people call it spam, or worse.

I’ll have to check out those holiday ones Grog. I did see a few there.

You know, there are so many subscriber out there that not only don’t comment, but don’t even bother to read the comments. Imagine how cluttered the pages of the more popular strips would be if every subscriber commented.

I only went to the usual places, Baldo, OB,Ten Cats, here, and one or two others. I went to places I always post and hope that I am well known enough at those sights that I figure I am just passing along info on a good comic strip. I would NEVER hit every strip and do that because I have been around here since 2008 and know how this stuff works.

Yes, Fellow Baby most subscribers don’t comment, or rarely comment. But if they have the strip in their queue, at least the cartoonists know there are people who are reading their work, even if they don’t comment.

And I will say goodnight too! LOL, KEEP THE LIGHT ON!

Well it think it’s time for me to turn in. I’m going to fall asleep while watching After the Thin Man on TCM.

Such wonderful attention to detail on that strip though. This guy’s a perfectionist.
