I sent an email (a cartoon off this site) to an old coworker last night at his work email. It was after ten. I got an answer two minutes later. I replied ‘are you at work?’. He came back ‘yes… got a problem and we have a forced outage…. don’t you miss it?"
I sent him a reply and told ‘no sir I do not!’. My job was basic four ten’s unless something went wrong at the plant. We’d have to cover 24/7 until an outage was over so you never knew then what you’d be working.
