Big-leaf maples (Acer macrophyllum, which is Latin for "big-leaf maple) grow in the Pacific Northwest and have huge leaves. I pressed one once that was over a foot across. But if you want BIG, try sugar pines. They have cones two feet long. The immature cones, still wet, could wreck your car windshield.

A funny thing happened when i paid my bills friday.
When i was finished passing out my paycheck, and setting aside 1/2 of a house and car payment, i only owed about $200 on the CC.
I have no idea how i went from being $1,000 in the hole to just $200.
…not that I’m complaining!
