There’s a neighborhood in Thousand Oaks, California (Rebecca, Vanessa, Florence, and other streets) where all the houses, hundreds of them, are all the same design. The only differences between them is that half are the mirror image of the other half. Stylistically they look to be from the 1950s, and over the decades the owners have done what they could to individualize them, but it gives one a weird feeling to drive through that neighborhood and see that same house over and over again. Do a Google street view and you’ll see what I mean.

Complete with matching pickup trucks too.

I guess there’s no “keeping up with the Joneses” since everything is the same!
