Good morning all!

Odd … in my 70 years’ experience with charcoal grilling (first 15 with my dad and thereafter my own) I’ve never experienced a backyard grill explosion! And for the first 50 years (until I learned about chimney starters) I and my dad used generous amounts of charcoal lighter fluid … and still no explosion. However, we ate lots and lots of delicious, perfectly grilled steaks, pork chops, chicken, turkey, etc.

Burned at the steak.

If some is good, more is better. Right? What could possibly go wrong, again?
