BTW, what’s the correct skateboarding terminology for what skateboarders do… moves, skills, stunts, tricks??
That is one of the “bowls” in a skate park near where we live. My son, Sam, fell about 8 ft onto his helmet in it. He was unconscious for about a minute. It seemed like an hour at the time. That was his first injury in about five years of serious skateboarding. It has cooled his interest quite a bit.
If you see some skateboarders in your neighborhood, don’t immediately look down on them. Quite often they’re amazing athletes–and without coaches.
