Nordling: We've got a shot against this team. We can break their concentration if we keep the ball on the other side of the field. Coach: Are their players weak on that side? Nordling: No their parents are strong on that side. Parents: Stay on the ball, Doyle! Get in there, Max! Move up, Sean! Move back, Austin! Petey! What are you doing?!?

too many parents get involve in their kid’s game. I know when my kid was younger I helped him, but not in the middle of a game. Not all parents were insane to have to yell advice in the middle of the game, but enough that you felt sorry for the kid and irritated by the parent. I remember one kid walking off the field in the middle of a game and yelling at his dad to shut up and if he didn’t move 50 yards away to the picnic table over yonder the kid would stay off the field. kid got a yellow card and the dad went to the table.
