My son accidently broke the end off the cord for his new electric guitar and, though he can fix it for a couple of bucks, called his friend at the guitar shop to ask if it was under warranty at all. The guitar shop guy cheerfully told him, “Nope, that’s under the Complete Idiot Extended Warranty and you didn’t get that.”
He must be at Best Buy. I bought a tablet from Best Buy the other day, and the salesman would not stop hassling me for the Black Tie plan. He really started treating me like a second-class citizen because I didn’t get it and I got angry he was wasting my time by not accepting my answer. Buying online next time.
