The Airlines would NEVER go for it. Even if you could get around the safety issues, removing the ability to sardine passengers so they can stuff a hundred people into a Cessna would be a deal killer.

Every flight I’ve been on lately has been completely full. No more empty seats.

With standard fare you get the bag. With an upgrade you get the beans.

richardjOnce you fasten your seat belt, it won’t matter; the beans may be around you, but not under you.

One reason that they have increase capacity is simple. Have you ever tried to get up out of a bean bag chair?

That would be awesome! However, everyone would need help getting up to leave the plane!

In the event of a water landing, you and your seats can be used as soup.
