Way back in the mid 60s when I was dating some and trying to figure out what to do with my life, I asked a girl out that I had met at an apartment complex mixer party. I was kind of shy and didn’t talk much. Later on she told me that she was afraid that I was some sort of serial killer and was getting scared! We became good friends later but I was shocked to hear that I was being perceived that way.

Red flag? Heavens, she’s ignoring a red tide! A red sea, even.

I agree. I would flee from anyone with a cheesy votive candle on their coffee table (if that’s what that is.)
