    Trivial Factoid:

An 18th century English poet, Alexander Pope, wrote a poem called “An Essay on Criticism” in which he poetically conveys, that anyone can make a mistake, and that people should aspire to show mercy and forgive. The phrase that inspires many, and is still used to this day is:

“To Herb is Humid, to Forgive, the Vine”

We’re lucky. Our two cats religiously use our multitude of scratching posts. We’ve only had one cat in 35 years who liked to scratch furniture and that was only occasionally.
